LED Video Wall Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is the “face to” and the “eyes and ears of” the lighting and video wall markets for Blizzard Lighting. This role, residing in the Global Sales department, is responsible for developing market knowledge and interest in Blizzard Lighting and Video Wall products, thereby filling the sales pipeline.

Thought of as Blizzard Special Forces, this individual will be the technical knowledge leader for our product lines to the market and is responsible for generating new business leads and opportunities through product demos and training, ensuring top-level post-sale support, commissioning services for key projects, and acting as a key market liaison internally to the Sales, Product Development, and Marketing teams.

Duties

Pre-Sales

  • Product Technical Expert and Champion
  • Product Demos
  • System design, specification, quoting
  • Opportunity hunting and lead cultivation
  • Formal and informal market research
  • Monitor and contribute on company’s behalf on social media platforms

Post-Sales

  • Key project commissioning
  • Top-tier “special forces” field technical support

Training

  • Develop and execute Product, Application, and Sales training
  • Training for Rep Firms, Dealers, and End Users

Event Support

  • Trade shows
  • Concerts and Live Events
  • Industry expert discussions and panels

Cross-Functional Business Collaboration

  • Provide feedback from market to Product Development
    • New product or feature requests
    • Field issue management
  • Contribute to Marketing
    • Assist with new product marketing
    • Videos
    • Training
    • Outline asset needs
  • Share best practices across Blizzard Manufacturer’s Representative network

Requirements for Success

  • Passion for the AVL, Audio, Video, Lighting industry
  • Experience with professional and/or DJ lighting, including programming protocols
  • Experience with LED walls, products, and processing technologies
  • Ability to effectively present to and connect with varied audiences
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, able to thrive with or without clear task directives
  • Ability to perform under pressure with a “show must go on” mentality
  • Ability to travel 30 to 50 percent, including occasional weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Mechanical, rigging, audio, or musical abilities a plus
