Blizzard Lighting Releases New, Internally Designed & Developed Wireless DMX Control Solution SoC-It™ — Powered by Companion App At Full™

July 10, 2023

Waukesha, Wis. (November 21, 2019) – Blizzard Lighting has an app for that. Small enough to fit in your pocket, the new SoC-It minicomputer and  At Full companion app allow users to easily control and configure fixtures wirelessly.

Debuted at this year’s LDI show (booth 1223), the WiFi enabled Art-Net / sACN to DMX converter is 100% engineered and manufactured in Wisconsin and backed by Blizzard Lighting’s US-based support. To aid product development and solicit direct user feedback, Blizzard Lighting also launched an exclusive beta program for select participants in the months leading up to its release.

“This is just the beginning for us,” said Will Komassa, Chairman of the Bored at Blizzard Lighting. “We’re working with customers to develop smarter, more agile products that fit their modern needs. It’s very exciting to get creative and push the limits in order to provide better solutions than what currently exists in the market today.”

SoC-It wirelessly receives one universe of Art-Net / sACN per device from any console and re-transmits via wired DMX. Once connected, users can directly control any Art-Net or sACN channel.

To support on-the-go use, SoC-It runs off a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery that holds over 8 hours of wireless operation. It can be connected directly or with any existing 2.4Ghz wireless network for virtually unlimited range.

The free, lighting control companion app At Full is also internally developed by Blizzard Lighting and is now available for download on Android and iOS. Currently in v1.0.5, additional features are in progress and slated for release in early 2020.
